WD Release HD Portable Slim 2 TB Capacity

Hardware manufacturer Western Digital (WD) today introduced a portable hard disk storage "My Passport for Mac" with a capacity up to 2 TB USB 3.0 and enhanced features to use Apple products.

"Today customers are looking for quick access, safe, practical and reliable way to access and transfer digital files," said Director of Product Marketing WD Ralf San Jose in a press release received by AFP on Tuesday (11/9).



The device has a sleek and slim design making it easy to carry anywhere and features a USB 3.0 enables users to transfer high-speed data.

For security, the device features include password protection and hardware encryption to protect content.

WD warranty for 3 years. The device was sold for $ 80 for 500 GB, $ 107 USD for 1 TB, and USD $ 184 for 2 TB.
