Once widely applied in digital cameras Near Field Communication (NFC) is now venturing into the memory card. The first product is equipped with an SD card such technology this week introduced by Toshiba.
As quoted by Kompas Tekno of PetaPixel, Friday (09/01/2014) Toshiba SD Card NFC allows users to easily peek photos of anything that is stored in the corresponding memory card, without the need to use a card reader or digital camera.
The trick, enough to bring a memory card with a smartphone, then open the application "Memory Card Preview" from Toshiba.
Android smart phone that is equipped with NFC feature also automatically displays 16 thumbnails of photos stored on the SD memory card NFC.
In addition, Memory Card Preview application also displays the amount of free space remaining on the SD Card NFC.
This technology is expected to facilitate the photographer who often confused about which memory card a stored photo.
Although not mentioned the price, Toshiba plans to market the SD Card memory card NFC homemade start next February, with the ability to 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB. Android Application Memory Card Preview will be distributed to Google Play in the same time.
