Fusion Series A, Style Supercomputer AMD

AMD on Tuesday (15 / 6) announced the launch of AMD's Fusion A-Series Accelerated Processing Units (APUs) that is able to deliver HD graphics and performance experience like a supercomputer.

AMD's press release mentions, APU Series A from AMD combines up to four-core x86 CPU with high-level graphics that support DirectX 11 and up to 400 core Radeon capable of playing HD video in a single chip. APU Series A from AMD also supports high-level capabilities such as gestural interfaces, multimonitor displays, 3D entertainment and an image stabilizer.
"A Series of AMD's APU is a turning point for AMD and possibly also the largest industrial architectural changes since the discovery of micro-processors," said Rick Bergman, senior vice president and general manager, AMD Products Group.

Currently, APU Series A from AMD (formerly named "Llano") is in the process of delivery and planned for use in more than 150 notebooks and PCs from various leading manufacturers from the second quarter of 2011.
APU Series A from AMD can deliver the series and parallel computing capabilities are powered to play HD video, 3D rendering and huge data managing capabilities in a single processor.

Battery life is more than 10.5 hours-50 percent higher compared to AMD's Mainstream Platform 2010 - users can complete their work or watching various movies and high definition (HD) in a single charger.
In addition, AMD graphics card that can be redeemed for optimizing battery life on a PC with AMD dual-graphics solution through the ability to manage power consumption on the APU and the AMD Radeon graphics cards separate.
Cutting-edge technology embedded in the APU Series A AMD, help beautify the digital content such as videos, games, and photos. Open the internet site to be faster with the performance of HTML5 and Direct2D already accelerated.
Editing, transfer and view HD content to be quickly and easily with the support of cutting-edge connections, including HDMI1.4a, DisplayPort 1.1, and USB 3.0, along with the ability to display multimonitor.
APU Series A from AMD also has a feature called Steady Videovi AMD is designed to stabilize the video playback - create an image that looks stable and smooth vibrating. APU Series A from AMD also has a high rate capability as gestural interfaces, can play 3D games and Blu-ray video-3D which is a key feature of the experiences and expectations of consumers in using their PCs.
Any PC with APU Series A of AMD will deliver a stunning HD via the discrete graphics-class DirectX ® 11-in various models with varying prices. AMD Fusion APU only really offers the ability AMD Dual Graphics, with increased graphics capabilities of up to 75 percent, when combined with AMD graphics cards RadeonTM. The graphics are more vibrant, faster, sharper and make the user feel really included in the digital world, especially when playing games.
With a capacity of up to 400 gigaflop for notebooks and up to 500 gigaflop for desktopviii, APU Series A from AMD to ensure users have the skills needed to run the toughest applications such as video and image processing, face recognition, the introduction of body motion / gesture, and multitasking scenarios.
AMD Fusion APU Series A offers the AMD Turbo Core Technology, which dynamically optimize and improve the performance of the CPU and GPU with efficient power consumption levels depending on the running application.
