Epson Moverio, First Android Smart Glasses World's

The era of smart glasses are in the process seems to square off. Epson succeeded in making the Android-based smart eyewear named Moverio BT-100. Epson claims this new product as the world's first smart glasses.

For navigation, Moverio provide Wi-Fi controller that comes trackball to allow users to access the internet, streaming, download, watch videos, and other multimedia content such as 2D and 3D.

Moverio provides 1GB of internal data storage media that can be expanded with MicroSD up to 32GB and running with an operating system Android 2.2 Froyo. The batteries last up to 6 hours.

Moverio priced at 699 dollars or about Rp 6.2 million.

In addition to Epson, Google is also reportedly developing Android-based smart eyewear. Based on rumors, Google Goggles navigation system is done by tilting the head to make a click or scroll through the screen.
