Nuri Cops, Police eradication Internet Pornography

South Korea is now supported "special forces" who refer to themselves as "Nuri Cops" (Internet police) in an effort to eradicate the pornographic content on the internet.

Squad volunteers consisting of approximately 800 people is made up of people who are committed to finding porn in their spare time, then reports the IP address (Internet Protocol) sites related to the government side to be blocked.

As one of the most advanced in terms of technology in which 90 percent of Internet users have high-speed broadband access, pornographic content is easily accessible and widely circulated in South Korea.


Moreover, as many as 30 million of the 50 million people can access the internet from anywhere and anytime via mobile devices.

In fact, pornography is illegal in the country's K-Pop. One reason is because of pornography on the internet has been blamed as a major cause of sexual crime increasing.

The South Korean government are frustrated with the circulation of content generation in interet trying memberangusnya lust. The work done includes censoring websites with related content and increase the maximum prison sentence for drug pornographic content from 7 to 10 years.

In the 6-month period ending last October, as many as 6.400 people caught selling or producing pornographic content captured by the South Korean government.

In Indonesia, a similar initiative has been undertaken by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, among others, by blocking porn websites using DNS Nawala.
