Google Business Group (GBG) is a business community that is supported by Google. Business groups are now moving to popularize the use of Internet technology in running a small or medium business.
"GBG is a place to share ideas and network with others who are interested in using online media and technology to build and grow the business. Any member can interact and learn with other members for offline and online activities. All activities are geared to the general public and free of charge, "said GBG Manager for Jakarta region, Yansen Kamto through his official statement to Okezone, Wednesday (12/26/2012).
The world wide web has provided an opportunity for small companies to act like large companies and allows them to communicate directly with customers, suppliers and their employees, so as to reduce the burden of doing business in the capital.
But according to him, many small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Indonesia have joined the global network that exists today.
GBG concept itself is always to support collaboration and knowledge sharing among its members. Increasing number of sharing, the more members can learn.

Community recently celebrated its first anniversary it has approximately 1200 registered members. In addition, there have been approximately more than 120,000 people are connected (circles) in Google+. As GBG first division in Asia, Indonesia currently has 8 branches located in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Semarang, Bali, Bandung, Medan and Depok.
