Snapdragon 653 and 626 Released, Claimed 10 Percent More Toned

Semiconductor manufacturers from the United States, Qualcomm chipset officially announced the two newest mobile middle class, namely the Snapdragon 653 and 626.

The second announcement for the latest Snapdragon chipset was done at the sidelines of the 4G / 5G Summit 2016 in Hong Kong, Monday (17/10/2016), which was attended by journalists Kompas Tekno, Laksono Today Wiwoho.

Kedar Kondap, Senior Director of Product Management Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. said that the Snapdragon 653 is the successor of the 652 variants.

Both are carrying the processor with eight processing cores (octa-core) 64-bit. The difference, Snapdragon 653 has a speed of central processing unit (CPU) 10 percent faster than its predecessor, which has a clock speed of 1.8 GHz.

Snapdragon chipset 653 series is equipped with a modem X9 LTE ​​Category 7 which can provide download speeds (download) up to 300 Mbps and upload up to 150 Mbps.

X8 LTE modem in previous Snapdragon 652 also has a download speed of 300 Mbps, upload speeds limited to 100 Mbps only.

In other words, the upload speed of the latest Android phones with Snapdragon chipset 653 on paper will be faster.

Snapdragon 626

As for variant Snapdragon 626, Qualcomm also boost performance 10 percent of the serial pendahulnyau, the Snapdragon 625 (2 GHz clock speed).

Just like the 653 variant, Snapdragon 626 also brings LTE modem X9 Category 7.

The most important upgrade in the Snapdragon 626 is support for video recording in 4K Ultra HD resolution, this feature not previously owned in 625.

Two variants Qualcomm also supports the brand-new 600 Quick Charge 3.0 technology. Qualcomm claims that Quick Charge 3.0 will improve the speed of recharging the battery up to four times faster than conventional charging.

Both of the latest mobile chipset 600 series also supports dual camera technology. Both will begin production early as the end of this year.
