88 Percent of Smartphone in the World Use Android

As many as 88 percent of smartphones in circulation in the world currently use the Android operating system. At least according to the results of survey research institute Strategy Analytics, during the third quarter 2016.

In the same period last year, Android penetration is still 84 percent. That is, the market managed to make Android mobile operating system other sort of iOS, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry.

According to Strategy Analytics Executive Director Neil Mawston, a strong position Android could not be separated from the onslaught of vendors release new devices. Each year, the average Android phone vendors launch at least two products.
