First Snapdragon 835 device was not "Smartphone"

Name Osterhout Design Group (ODG) is not so well known. However, San Francisco-based company that managed to steal the public's attention at CES 2017 held in Las Vegas, USA.

How not, ODG became the first vendor to release a device with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835. The device is not a smartphone, but a smart eyewear alias SmartGlass.

Unmitigated, ODG immediately released two SmartGlass once called R-8 and R-9. Both are able to provide the experience of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) or termed mixed-reality.

AR is a technology that allows users to view visual content in addition to the real landscape. Meanwhile, VR makes the user feel as if you go into the visual content being viewed via.

R-8 is a cheaper version with distance vision aka field-of-view as wide as 40 degrees. Resolution display only 720 pixels.

R-8 priced at 1,000 US dollars or equivalent to Rp 13.3 million. R-9 is almost twice more expensive, which is 1,799 US dollars, or Rp 23.3 million.
