Yahoo Rename So Altaba

After Yahoo acquired by Verizon, Yahoo name is proposed to be renamed Altaba Inc. The proposal was contained in a report submitted to the securities commissions Yahoo and US stocks on Monday (09/01/2017).

In the report documents, precisely at 8:01 Item say, Yahoo's directors decided to change the name into Altaba Yahoo Inc. This follows the completion of the acquisition transaction Verizon against Yahoo.

Tor Braham, Eric Brandt, Catherine Friedman, Thomas McInerney, and Jeffrey Smith, the current Yahoo board member, proposed as directors in Altaba. Brandt later would act as the lead directors.

The composition of the board of directors Altaba also designed to be mostly occupied by people Starboard, Yahoo persuade investors to sell his company. Smith and Braham himself both also come from Starboard.

However, as quoted KompasTekno of Business Insider, Tuesday (10/01/2017), Verizon as the owners want to retain Yahoo's new Yahoo brand that has been popular for a number of its online consumer services.

Marissa Mayer plans to resign
