Mobile phones in circulation today there are features of waterproof and some that do not have these features. Taken from various sources, when the phone user does not have the features of waterproof and soaked in the rain, the user should notice the following points.

Turn off the phone
Users immediately turn off the phone, remove the battery, sim and memory card. This is done to prevent the phone from experience shorted.

Remove the battery
When a position in the off position and not switched on, then immediately unplug the phone battery. Remove the battery makes the phone more secure because it actually stops the flow of electricity that may occur in the phone.

Drain immediately
If the phone is wet cell phone, then remove or eliminate the entire water attached to the body of the phone. Remove the casing and battery, and start to dry out the inside of the phone with a tissue or dry cloth. Avoid using a hairdryer that can damage parts of the smartphone.

Take advantage of Rice
Dry the phone until completely dry and the user can use silica gel which effectively absorb water. If no silica gel, users can also use the rice. The trick, put the handset into the wet plastic or jar, then fill to the brim with rice. Let stand for at least one day.

Do not Turn Mobile Phones
Phones that are still wet or still leave residual moisture on the hardware, the user should not turn it on. Wet, dangerous for the handset when switched on because it can damage the electrical components.
