ASUS Give Laptop "Similar" MacBook Air

With the aim of breaking the domination of the MacBook Air ultraportable laptop market, ASUS launches super-thin laptops, ZenBook, Wednesday (10/12/2011).

ASUS ZenBook available in two models with screen size of 11.6 inches and 13.3 inches. Standard specification of this notebook is equipped with a hybrid storage media solid state drive (SSD) of 128 GB and an Intel i5 (available also the option to upgrade to Intel i7). Zenbook use a Microsoft operating system, Windows 7 and is part of Intel's "Ultrabook", with a thickness of less than one inch and U.S. $ 1000 price range.



With a thickness of only 0.11 inches (3mm) at the thinnest and 0.35 inches (9mm) in the thickest part, Zenbook ASUS claims is the thinnest laptop available in the market today (the MacBook Air at the very thick, 0.68 inches ). Zenbook UX21 model weighs about 1.1 kg and UX31, with a screen size of 13.3 inches, weighs approximately 1.29 kg.
