Xperia Active, Water Resistant and Dust Resistant

Sony Ericsson Xperia smartphone finally launched active, Sunday (10/23/2011) in Jakarta. The launch was held simultaneously with City Square Indo Billabong Competition, a skateboard competition followed by fans from all over Southeast Asia.
As the name implies, the Xperia Active aimed at the mania that is not only technology but also an active and sporty in daily life. "Sony Ericsson Xperia Active also has applications SportyPal. It can monitor the activity of our sport, could Bicycling, running, golf and more via GPS. So help users who like to exercise," said Rachmat. To utilize the application, users simply login and enter data, such as weight and height and age. Furthermore, users simply select the type of exercise will be conducted. Active Xperia will show whether the activity monitor and achieve targets.
Other applications are related to sports Walkmate, devoted to the activity of walking. This application allows users to design target calorie burning. Active Xpperia will monitor the activity of walking through the GPS, converts it in calories and presenting it in graphical form.
Actually, there are also special applications for the likes iMapMyFitness gym. Through this application, users can design a workout, nutritional intake to achieve the target. Unfortunately, this application is not available on the Xperia Active circulating in Indonesia.
Active Xperia is a smartphone-sized 3-inch screen with the Android operating system Gingerbread 2.3 by Mobile Bravia Engine and processor 1 GHz. This smartphone has a 5MP camera with HD recording function and panoramic three-dimensional (3D).
Xperia Active is available in black and white and black and orange, sold for Rp 3.075 million. In addition it is also marketed in limited numbers, Xperia Active Billabong Billabong Limited Edition with the casing with the same selling price. Smarphone also had features of Facebook inside Xperia.
Purchase Active Xperia will be equipped with a Sony Ericsson Live View. This accessory has a similar form of watches, allowing the user aware of any calls, incoming messages, and notifications from social networks like the look of time in watches.
