QuickOffice

Google re-launched the business in expanding his business empire. Not until 24 hours after the internet giant acquired social platform Meebo, now turn to Google bought QuickOffice.

QuickOffice is the manufacturer of the package cross-platform office suite that runs on various mobile platforms, including iPhone, iPad, smartphones, and tablets Android, and Symbian devices. This software has been installed in more than 300 million devices in 180 countries.

 
One uniqueness of QuickOffice is the ability to create and open documents in almost any format, including those made by similar office applications, like Microsoft Word or Excel. The result, documents can be accessed by any device over the network cloud (Google Drive).

Technical Director of Google's Alan Warren said the company will implement the technology in the QuickOffice suite of Google applications. This will improve the functionality and compatibility of applications such as Google Docs, Gmail, Calendar, and Google Drive.

"Quickoffice has a good history file compatibility, we will take it to Google's applications," said Warren

Previously, Google was allegedly going to use Meebo ability to improve the quality of social services, the Google Chat and Google +.
