Microsoft has announced the Windows 10 Technical Preview and the software has not been released to the public in the final. The latest version of this OS offers several advantages such as bring back the Start Menu as well as allowing more storage space to free up memory on your computer.
Reported by IBTimes, Tuesday (17/03/2015), the Redmond-based company has decided to offer more storage space. Microsoft said it uses two memory mechanism, first by pressing the compression algorithm (compresses) file system.
In addition, Windows 10 will also eliminate the need for a 'recovery image' separate customized with increased recovery. This mechanism is said to be able to free up more storage space.
The elimination technique can be achieved with the help of tools Refresh and Reset Windows 10 that has been overhauled. According to Microsoft, this compression technique designed to save as much as 1.5 GB of storage area in the machine with 32-bit CPU architecture and 2,6GB of memory on 64-bit Windows computers.
The amount of compressed memory for Windows Phone is not yet known. Later, this memory compression techniques will be available for smartphones and desktops running on Windows 10.
