Samsung Showcases Invisible TV

Electronics giant Samsung showed off two models of 55-inch OLED TV devices in the exhibition Retail Asia Expo 2015 held in Hong Kong this week.
Each model has a unique form of the TV screen is transparent and reflective screen objects around, like a mirror.
As summarized by Kompas Tekno from ArsTechnica, Friday (12/06/2015), the two television technologies also equipped Intel RealSense 3D gesture detection.
With RealSense, TV model "mirror" Samsung can serve as a "virtual dressing room mirror" through the application of augmented reaity.
A camera detects the position of the user, and then add items such as jewelry or clothing on the figure of the user reflection in the mirror TV. The results are as wearing clothes or jewelry intended without actually wearing it.

Mirror TV Samsung uses OLED panel with a reflection level of 75 per cent which, according to Samsung at least "50 percent higher" than the mirror LCD TV technology.
For TV transparent, Samsung has actually been producing similar products that implement transparent LCD technology.
However, TV on exhibition in Hong Kong is wearing a transparent OLED screen and is claimed to be the first in the world. The level of transparency was called better than LCD, which is 40 percent versus 10 percent.
Samsung did not disclose the price of the two models of TV. For now, TV is transparent and TV mirrors made by the South Korean company was only intended for retail use. Perhaps because the price tag is still too expensive for the general consumer.
