Groups WhatsApp "mute" Now Still Rings

WhatsApp update brings a feature that has been long awaited. Through version 2.16.272 on Android and iOS, WhatsApp releasing mention features or "poke" your friends in the conversation group.

Using this single feature, users who are members of the group is guaranteed to be more aware when on-mention.

The reason is, these features will still force the system emits a notification when users in-mention, though the conversation group that has been made in the silent mode (mute).

Previously, if a user mute group, the system will not emit any notification. So users are often unaware of being invited to speak in a WhatsApp group.

Mention feature can be used by applying or by pressing the character "@" (without the quotes). After typing the symbol "@" in the column of the conversation, a row of contacts in the name of the group will be raised.

Users can type the name of the desired contact or choose one from a list of contacts that were returned by WhatsApp.

For a personal conversation, mention features not available because it is a live conversation. Features mention is also not available in the web version of WhatsApp.

In addition to the features mention, as summarized from Phone KompasTekno Radar, Wednesday (09/21/2016), WhatsApp in the near future will also release features video phone calls (video calls). This step was taken WhatsApp to rival Google has released Duo advance.

However, for this video call feature, iOS users reportedly would enjoy precedence over Android.
