Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 boasted 10 Percent Faster

Qualcomm lays out more details about its new flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 821. The processor was first introduced in July 2016.

Snapdragon 821 chipset is projected as the next generation with improved performance and functionality, as reported by Engadget and collected KompasTekno, Thursday (01/09/2016).

CPU performance on Snapdragon 821 is claimed to increase 10 percent. Users can open applications and perform various other commands faster than its predecessor, Snapdragon 820.

"Scrolling (scrolling) smoother and more responsive performance while surfing in the browser (browser)," said Qualcomm representative.

In addition, the performance of the graphics chip (GPU) is also called an increase of 5 percent. This is expected to help the growth of new digital ecosystem such as virtual reality (VR)

"(Snapdragon 821) supports the visual and audio quality is superior. The experience virtual reality and also more in-depth game play," Qualcomm said.

Other features on the Snapdragon 821 is PDF alias phase detection auto-focus. This feature allows the smartphone's camera captures the object focus more quickly and accurately.

The first phone that will use the Snapdragon 821 is Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe. Qualcomm has not revealed the name of the other devices, but it seems to be unfolding at the IFA 2016 in Berlin, Germany, a few more days.
