Want To Know Blocker in WhatsApp, Here's How

Blocking numbers in WhatsApp does happen secretly, with no notifications at all. But that does not mean blocked users can not figure it out.

If blocked, you can still send messages to other WhatsApp users. Only, the other user will not receive your message. It also applies to photo, video and call submissions.

There are a number of things that can be used as an indicator to block whether or not your WhatsApp number. This indicator is not immediately visible after blocking, but must wait for a few minutes afterwards.

As summarized KompasTekno from various sources, Tuesday (11/7/2017), there are a total of four indicators that you can use to ensure it.

First, open a contact that is thought to have blocked you. Try to send a message. Once blocked, your message will not show a check mark of two.

The message sent will show only one check mark. This means your message has actually been submitted, but the destination number has not received it yet.

Second, consider the time stamp that appears under the contact name. Usually when opening a chat column will display the words "Last Online", complete with the time when the last user was active in WhatsApp.

If you are blocked, this time marker will not be visible to you. While others who are not blocked will still be able to see it.

Third, check your profile picture. Blocked users will not be able to see the profile photo of the person who blocked it. Usually, the photo column will change with the empty frame only.

Fourth, try the phone using WhatsApp Call. If your WhatsApp number is not blocked, the call will go to the destination WhatsApp number. On the contrary, the call will not be continued.

One thing to note, the indicator has not been absolutely indicative of blocking. Sometimes a check mark or the loss of a profile photo occurs because the recipient is in an area where the signal is poor. New messages come in when users are in areas with better signals.

But if you've checked those four things for a few times and there's no change. So you can expect it is really blocked.
