Not Only Cars, Mobile Phone Also Have Airbag Feature

Security features such as airbags are generally pinned inside a four-wheeled vehicle to prevent serious injury to the rider. The same concept is also intended for mobile devices.

However, instead of protecting users from injury, but the feature of mobile airbag is used to prevent a violent collision resulting in damage to the phone. Launched Mashable, Tuesday (3/7/2018), mobile airbag technology initiated by Philip Frenzel, a German engineering student.

The special case was created using the foot like a spider when the phone started to fall. The legs look softer to reduce the impact of the fall and minimize the possibility of your smartphone in contact with hard surfaces.

From videos uploaded to YouTube, the airbags on this smartphone appear to appear before the device touches the surface. In every corner of the phone, an arch object appears that prevents loud hitting on the phone.

That said, the idea of making mobile phone case with mobile airbag feature is based on the personal experience of the maker. One day, iPhone Frenzel slipped out of his jacket pocket and fell to the floor. The screen is destroyed and the phone can no longer work, even when the screen has been fixed.

So, he designed something that could protect from a falling phone. After several experiments, this unique case can detect well if the phone free fall because it has sensors.

The security tool for this phone is called ADcase. Frenzel reportedly will bring his creations that are now patented to Kickstarter.
