Google's Android Market Polishing Display

Sony Corp. (SNE), Japan's largest electronics company plans to produce an updated digital book readers in the United States beginning in August 2011, to compete with Amazon.com (AMZN), maker of the Kindle


Sony Reader, which previously had been around for 180 U.S. dollars to 300 dollars, will be revised in hardware and software.
Phil Lubell, Vice President of Digital Reading Sony Electronics revealed this in an interview in San Francisco.
Sony's new products will be introduced to U.S. consumers before the tablet Sony entered the market later this year.
Tokyo-based company plans to push sales of the Sony Reader to reach the digital reader eBook considering the price is cheaper than the price of the tablet.
"Sony seems to struggle to expand its e-reader as fast as Sony's original business plan," said Nobuo Kurahashi, an analyst with Mizuho Financial Group Inc. in Tokyo.
