Remove Symbian, Vertu Select Use Android

Super luxury mobile phone manufacturer Vertu rumored to be bidding farewell to the Symbian operating system. Vertu will switch to a Google-made mobile operating system, Android.

Vertu is famous for its luxury phones and expensive is a former subsidiary of Nokia. Some time ago, Nokia has decided to sell the company. Reportedly, Nokia has agreed to release Vertu Vi EQT, the private equity group of Northern Europe.

According to other news, Vertu will also choose Anssi Vanjoki as CEO of the company. Vanjoki is a former high-ranking Nokia.

Why Vertu reportedly prefer to use Android over other mobile operating systems, like Windows Phone? According to Android Authority, it is most likely to occur because of a problem "vendetta" between Vanjoki with Nokia.

When resigning, Vanjoki had mentioned one of the reasons behind his decision. Vanjoki blame Nokia who prefer lifting Stephen Elop, who was working for Microsoft, than he who has long been dedicated to Nokia.

Finally, Nokia, under Elop, a lot of "throw" the operating system is being developed, such as Meego and Symbian. Nokia also prefer the Windows Phone, the company's operating system of the new left by Elop.

Therefore, according to Android Authority, Vanjoki reluctantly chose Windows Phone as the operating system of mobile phones Vertu.

Until now, the new Vertu released a smartphone with full touchscreen feature. With plans to use Android's, most likely will be releasing many series Vertu smartphone with features.
