Apple is reportedly planning to make the latest iPhone the smart phone screen size larger. Apple also is thinking of new innovations that will be embedded in the next generation iPhone, which most likely is the fingerprint sensor.
This news comes from Reuters on Thursday (13/06/2013), after interviewing four anonymous sources familiar with the matter, including a large distributor in Asia.
Rumors surrounding the fingerprint sensor that will be used for the Apple iPhone has previously circulated in 2012. At that time Apple has completed the acquisition of AuthenTec, a company that makes fingerprint sensors for mobile devices.
This has led to speculation that the new Apple mobile devices will have the sensors. Later, if this news is true, Apple could use a fingerprint sensor to activate and unlock the phone.
The news about the use of fingerprint sensors in phones is not new. Samsung is also rumored to be adopting something similar to the Galaxy series to come.
