Samsung launches new tablet that can run Windows 8 and Android systems.

Q Ativ series tablet has a 13.3 inch screen which can also sit on top of the keyboard for typing. This tablet comes just two weeks after Asus issued a similar product.

An analyst said the company is following the trends taking place in the industry. "This is a very effective way for manufacturers to offer more value to consumers at the same time when it is difficult to distinguish the benefits from one mobile device to another," said Chris Green, principal technology analyst at Davies Murphy Group told the BBC.

Q Ativ run with the new Intel chip. Samsung claims the battery used in the tablet can last up to nine hours. Chris Green said the display has been designed light enough to use on a sunny day.

Samsung also showed off another touch screen computer, Ativ Tab 3 is described as the world's thinnest tablet with Windows 8 operating system. In addition, Samsung Galaxy NX issued a supported camera android system and 4G data transfer.

This marks the company's efforts to sell a device that not only has the quality, but allows editing images and videos can be uploaded to the internet as well.
