Can Internet access of LED Lights

The scientists from the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics in China have recently discovered a new data transfer media to support internet connection , namely LED light bulb .
Scientists aim to develop a technology called Light Fidelity ( LiFi ) to deliver high -speed internet service for many people , given the current Internet has become an important part of human life .
Reported Damn Geeky , Saturday ( 26/10/2013 ) with just one watt LED bulb , then four devices can be connected to a computer and the internet running simultaneously. Remarkably , this new method provides data transfer speeds that are faster and cheaper than WiFi .

This was evidenced from experiments planted bulbs produce microchips capable of data transfer rates up to 150 Mbps . It exceeds the speed of the WiFi connection is available in the Bamboo Curtain country .
Saw it , of course thinking about the great potential of this technology for use in the next few years . The question is , how your case of power outages if the bulb was still able to provide an internet connection ?
Until now, researchers are still looking for ways to solve that problem .
