The new Mini Tablet Surface ready for 2014

Microsoft will not be releasing the tablet Surface just 10.6 inches in size only. The company, based in Redmond, United States, is rumored to be launching Surface also in a smaller size.

Unfortunately, consumers will not see the device, at least until 2014.

Information related to Microsoft and this Mini Surface for the first time also disclosed by a source to the technology site ZDNet.

According to the sources, there are several reasons why Microsoft's new Surface will be releasing version mini coming in 2014. One of them, Microsoft was waiting for the Windows operating system update 8.1 version of "Spring 2014 GDR".

Version Spring 2014 General Distribution Release (GDR), was quoted as saying from Slashgear, Friday (30/9/2013), will have features that are "in line" with Windows Phone "Blue". Unfortunately, it has not been explained, what features will get into the criteria "in line".

Other reasons, Microsoft hardware developer resources are focused to another device. Most likely, Microsoft is allocating workforce to continue to develop a gaming console Xbox One so as to defer temporarily the development of Surface this Mini.

Hardware specifications of this mini tablet hasn't been too described. Outstanding information mentioned that he would ARM-based processor armed and running Windows RT. While landscape screen, there will be between 7 and 8 inches.

Currently, Microsoft has two versions of the Surface, i.e. a Surface Pro and Surface. One thing that became a distinguishing feature between the two is the processors. If the Surface Pro x 86-based processors use, Surface comes with ARM processors. However, both are equally released with 10.6-inch screen landscape.
