Apple did not present at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), but the product, the iPad Air, won the award for the best tablet in the event the GSMA version.
In the smartphone category, the GSMA mobile operators consisting of 800 and 250 related companies from all over the world, chose HTC as the best this year.
While in the category of cheap mobile phones, Nokia won two awards. Nokia Lumia 520 as the best low cost smartphones and Nokia 102 award-winning entry-level or best featurephone.
In addition to selecting the best phones, the GSMA also gives awards in many categories such as the most innovative mobile applications, the most innovative manufacturers, to the best of mobile infrastructure providers.
