Initially popular with support wired mouse to move a cursor on a computer screen. Then the LAN or wireless technology is present, allowing the mouse cursor controlled wirelessly.
Recently, researchers developed a gloved finger or a 'thimble' smart that will replace the conventional computer mouse. Reported by Metro, Friday (11/07/2014), this innovative device looks tested on Linux-based PCs.
Named thimble 3D Touch, the device is worn on a user's finger to control the mouse on the screen. Users just slide your finger to control the cursor.
These devices carry sensor technologies such as accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope. The user can move a finger in front of a PC screen, tablet-like touch screen operate.
There is a button in between your index finger and thumb, which serves as the standard left-click button. This prototype was made by researchers Anh Nguyen and Amy Banic from the University of Wyoming, United States.
