In addition to the rechargeable battery without, this device allows users to make mobile payments. This capability is supported technology called Near Field Communication (NFC), which is a set of wireless connectivity technology that uses magnetic field induction between electronic devices in close proximity.

For the operating system, this smartwatch can work with Windows and Android operating systems. With innovation, Hayek ensure smartwatch made by Swatch ready to compete with Apple.

Starting Skeptics

Swatch innovation in creating real smartwatch surprising. The reason, Hayek once skeptical of the potential smartwatch. Exactly two years ago, Hayek said smartwatch will not be a product that revolutionized the industry.

According to him, watch the screen is too small to be able to communicate. Last year, Hayek also had said Swatch will not participate in developing the product smartwatch to follow the will of the market.

Hayek Decision 180 degrees opposite of the statement are reasonable interpreted by Luca Solca, an analyst at Exane BNP Paribas investment company. "Entrepreneurs are a practical people. They are more concerned with success rather than consistency," said Solca.
