Record-breaking Sale Worth SSD Drives

Although much faster, media type storage solid state drive (SSD) generally has a smaller storage capacity than conventional hard disks.

But not so with Samsung PM 1633a SSD from Samsung that provide storage space of 15.56 terabytes.

The new products introduced by the manufacturer is a record breaker SSD with the largest capacity in the world, as summarized KompasTekno from The Verge, Tuesday (02/08/2016).

Its price tag was spelled "wow", reached 10,000 US dollars, or more than Rp 130 million. More than enough to make a cheap car.

Samsung PM 1633a not only the SSD the most relieved of the world, but at the same time a hard drive (computer storage media, both based flash memory as SSD or strip of magnetic such as hard disk), the largest, beating products conventional hard disk sorts of Seagate Barracuda Pro which has a capacity of up to 10 terabyte.

With the capacity and the price is high, Samsung PM 1633a is not intended for home users, but enterprise, such as for data center or large-scale server systems.

A standard 42U rack server storage can be loaded with 1,000 units of Samsung PM 1633a so that it has a capacity of more than 15 petabytes. Of course, the costs incurred can reach millions of dollars.
