Whatsapp will Leave Blackberry OS and Windows Phone

Whatsapp says goodbye to an aging mobile operating system along with the end of the year. Specifically, the app terminates cooperation with Blackberry OS (including Blackberry 10) and Windows Phone 8 down on December 31st.

Reported from engadget, although this Facebook messaging app can still be used but the user can no longer create a new account or re-verify an existing account. Whatsapp also claims its application can stop working anytime so it's a good time to update the app.

In recent months Whatsapp has launched several practical features such as deleting pre-sent chats, real-time location sharing and new emoji. And it looks like the old operating system does not have the capabilities the company needs to expand its functionality in the future.

After extending the deadline to end its support on Blackberry 10, Whatsapp is proven to keep ending its cooperation. For Blackberry users who like to use Whatsapp is advisable to change the phone and move to android.

Meanwhile, for users of windows 8.1 up to the latest phones do not have to worry though Whatsapp plans to terminate its availability.
