Here's How to Block and Unblock Friends on Facebook

Facebook social ejaring still loved the world community, not least in Indonesia. In fact, Indonesia occupies the fourth position as the most Facebook users around the world, based on the We Are Social and Hootsuite surveys in 2017.

With the large number of users, certainly a lot of dynamics of social interaction that occurred. Often blocking actions block account into the selected solution. However, blocking action is also often done to avoid unwanted things from unknown accounts.

Through mobile apps on iOS and Android

Blocking certain accounts through mobile apps is not too difficult. On iOS-based mobile devices, especially iPhones, just visit the profile page of the person you'd like to block.

Then, find the "more" (other) menu under the profile picture. Then, select the option "block" (blocking), then Facebook will provide some further detail information after the account is blocked. If you agree to block an account, click the blocking option.

For Android devices, the steps were not much different from the iPhone device. Only the antramuka look on Android will be slightly different.

Through the desktop

Blocking can also be done via the desktop version of Facebook. The trick is the same, only the appearance will be different from the mobile. After you go to the user account profile page you want to block, find the "other" menu located on the bottom cover photo.

The menu is right next to the "message" menu. Continue to select the "blocking" option which is at the bottom. As with mobile, before continuing blocking, users will be given advanced step information after the account is blocked.

How to unblock (unblock)

Blocking backgrounds may vary. Whatever the reason, if it deemed necessary to unblock aliases unblock, can perform the following steps.

Through mobile apps on iOS and Android

Go to the "menu" icon with three lines. Then, select the "settings" (settings) menu, then choose "account settings" (account settings). There will be a "blocking" option to manage the blocked account, then select the option. A few blocked account names will appear, and choose which account to unblock by clicking "unblock". Facebook will send confirmation of what will happen if the blocking is canceled. If you agree, select confirm.

Facebook will also remind you that, if you want to block it again, then you have to wait 48 hours first after performing the last unblock.

Unblock step above can be done on iPhone or Android device. There is only a slight difference in the application interface section only.

Through the desktop

After logging in to the Facebook homepage, click the triangular image icon down in the top menu bar, just to the left of the "quick help" menu with a question mark. Select the "settings" menu, then click the "blocking" option on the left side of the desktop.

As in the mobile app, will appear several accounts that have been blocked. Then, choose what you want to unblock by click "cancel blocking". On the desktop, Facebook will also send an advanced step if the account is unblocked.
