Convertible devices, computers new design that combines function Ultrabook and tablets based on Windows 8 began flooding the Indonesian market. After Samsung introduced the Convertible with the name Ativ Smart PC, Lenovo now turn to the launch. The device is called the Convertible Lenovo's IdeaPad Yoga.
Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga claims as multi-mode Ultrabook in the world. This device comes with a two-hinge design that allows four position, Lenovo actually prefer to call as a mode, compared to the position - in a single computer. These positions are Ultrabook, tablet, stand and tent.


"The function of the IdeaPad Yoga is not only for the Ultrabook and tablet, but also can act as a stand and a tent," said Helmy Susanto, 4P & Distribution Manager - Consumer Business Lenovo Indonesia, in Jakarta, Thursday (11/29/2012).
The use of two-hinge makes the screen IdeaPad Yoga can be bent up to 360 degrees. Position the screen like this makes Yoga can be used as a tablet device.
In the position of the screen is bent 360 degrees, Yoga keyboard is automatically turned off. According to Helmy, it is deliberately set to prevent one press when used in tablet mode.
In addition, Yoga screen can also be rotated through 180 degrees. Lenovo calls this position as a stand.
"Stand mode suitable for use in aircraft. Positions can be used to make presentations to clients and also watch a video," said Helmy.
Just as the name implies, a position much like a tent tent triangle. In this position, the user claimed to be more comfortable in watching videos and reading e-books.
IdeaPad Yoga was first introduced at CES 2012 in the United States. In the U.S., these devices have been marketed with prices starting at U.S. $ 1199. While in Indonesia, not to mention the official price Lenovo devices.
