The History of SMS is No Longer As Popular

Short Message Service (SMS) is a component of short messaging services available on mobile phones, world wide web and mobile device systems. SMS seems popular in the era of feature phones or before the advent of the smartphone era.

Wikipedia explains, SMS is the most widely used data application with an estimated approximately 3.5 billion active users or approximately 80 percent of all cellular subscribers at the end of 2010.

The SMS used on modern devices comes from telegraph radio in 'radio memo pagers' using standard telephone protocols. It was defined in 1985 as part of the standard set of Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM).

SMS is also used in mobile marketing, a kind of direct marketing. According to one market research report, by 2014, the global SMS messaging business is estimated to be worth over USD100 billion, accounting for nearly 50 percent of all revenue generated by mobile messaging.

The concept of SMS was developed in the Franco-German GSM cooperation in 1984 by Friedhelm Hillebrand and Bernard Ghillebaert. The first SMS was sent in 1992 from Neil Papworth, a former developer at Sema Group Telecoms.

Most GSM phones did not support the ability to send SMS. The first SMS gateway for mobile phones is network notification, which is usually to inform voicemail.

Extraordinary! 5G Network Test Translucent Download Speed 2.8 Gbps

The EE mobile phone network demonstrates a 5G network, showing a 2.8 Gbps download speed. The test was in collaboration with the telecommunications company, Huawei.

Launched Computing, the test connects a 5G core virtualization to an active MIMO 64x64 Massive antenna unit that broadcasts 5G New Radio. Reportedly, the virtualization of this network technology can reduce costs, improve efficiency and help create new services.

The technology is on display at Huawei's Global Mobile Broadband Forum this week. By using Huawei's proof-of-concept baseband unit, the company connects 5G core networks with a 100MHz test spectrum of 3.5 GHz. As a result, high speed and high latency rates are delivered end-to-end.

The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standard body is currently working on the first official global standard that outlines how 5G will be built. The 5G EE architecture is aligned with the three Option of 3GPP Release 15, which will be completed next month.

Artificial Intelligence Technology Can Now Solve Criminal Problems

The development of artificial intelligence systems (Artificial Intelligence / AI) has reached the stage for astronauts in outer space. Today, the technology of artificial intelligence is also used to solve criminal or criminal problems.

European law enforcement agencies believe that the technology has the potential to help filter data more efficiently, recreate crime scenes, and identify clues.

The earliest version of this system was developed by Space Applications Services, almost 15 years ago. The system is designed to answer questions like "What's this?" and "Where is this?" from astronout-in-training at the Columbus Space Agency (ESA) research laboratory.

The technology is growing rapidly in the following years, leading to the latest techniques of intelligent mobile crew assistant. The bot will test this year with Alexander Gerst, the next ESA astronaut sent into space.

AI's potential to reduce onshore operations and related costs, as well as the possibility of lowering risk for human personnel. Not only attract the attention of space agents, but also law enforcement agencies.
