Facebook Messenger transformed into WhatsApp Competitors

Instead of buying WhatsApp as previously rumored, Facebook apparently had other plans. Corporate social networking site recently updated the Facebook Messenger for Android service.

Quoted from Venture Beat, starting today, Facebook Messenger for Android users no longer are required to have a Facebook account to be able to use the application.

The move is expected to attract more people to use Messenger app made ​​by Facebook to chat.
