Five Features Fails in Windows 8

Windows 8 is considered to have failed to attract users. Some lamented features removed as the Start button and the presence of the Metro design that tend to touch screen devices.

Reported Gizmag, Friday (27/02/2015), although the advent of Windows 8.1 update brings back the Start button, but still no menu. Start button in Windows 10 completely disappear, but replaced with a new Start menu.

New Start Menu

The new Start menu to display the options screen (full-screen) and back. Features the Start screen also displays the Modern UI elements, but the user can customize as desired.

Based Navigation Corner

In Windows 8, there is a navigation feature that is located at the corner of the screen. Thus, the user must move the mouse cursor to a corner of the screen to bring up the menu. This feature will be lost under Windows 10 and Microsoft brings a new feature called Virtual Desktops to allow users to access other applications.

Charms Bar

Charms Bar features will be missing in Windows 10. Microsoft featuring Charms Bar in Windows 8 is designed for touch-based devices, but is rarely used by desktop users. The feature will be replaced with the Microsoft notification panel called by the name of the Action Center.

Action Center displays notifications from applications, the latest email and notification system. The feature also allows users to quickly access WiFi, display settings and tablet mode.

Modern Full Screen Apps

By default in Windows 8, a particular file will be associated with modern applications that appear in full screen with no option to resize. Now, in Windows 10, all modern applications will be able to be resized or sizable.

Two Different versions of Internet Explorer

Whereas in the past there were different versions of Internet Exporer, ranging from Modern and Desktop versions, then it will be fixed with the emergence of a new browser called Spartan. Spartan is expected to offer a more sophisticated browsing experience and better than the version of Internet Exporer.
