How to Protect Your Data with Encryption on Android 5.0

The Android operating system has now entered the update or the update 5.1. Lollipop. The following are the steps to secure the data on Android phones 5.0 or above.

Mengitup Google Support, Friday (20/03/2015), to add additional data protection for encrypted device, follow these steps. First open the Settings menu on the device. Then in the "Personal", tap Security.

Next on the "Security" screen, tap Lock screen. After that select the pattern, PIN, or password as the key to the screen.

Users will be prompted to add additional data protection to the device with the PIN, pattern, or this password when starting the device. By default, this setting is enabled.

For your information, accessibility services such as TalkBack or paired with a Bluetooth device will not work when the device starts. This means that you need to enter a PIN, pattern, or passwords without assistance such as TalkBack for Android launch. If you rely on this assistance, do not setup screen lock.

Once all that is done then set the PIN, pattern, or password, then tap Continue.
