High-speed trains designed to deliver passengers using tubes will soon connect London to Edinburgh in just 50 minutes.
Travel between the capital of England and Scotland is currently taking more than seven hours by car or nearly five hours by train. Hyperloop trains will cut the time with a duration of less than an hour.
Hyperloop One is one of the few companies that realize Elon Musk's dream come true. After asking for advice finally Hyperloop One announced the location of the nine routes to be listed.
Other potential routes that could be built in England include Cardiff to Glasgow in 89 minutes and Glasgow to Liverpool in 47 minutes. These trips each currently take seven hours, and 3.5 hours.
In addition, Hyperloop One also launched several routes in the European region such as the Netherlands and Germany. The route that Hyperloop One thinks could potentially connect more than 75 million people in 44 cities was announced at the Vision for Europe Summit, which took place in Amsterdam.
In the event, Hyperloop One founder and chief executive Shervin Pishevar said "Europe embraces a new idea in transportation ... Our vision is that one day, all Europe is connected to our Hyperloop One system, networking across the continent."
To note, hyperloop was first conceived by CEO Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk in August 2013. Similarly, as reported by IB Times, Wednesday (7/6/2017).
