WhatsApp is known to diligently introduce its new features on a regular basis. However, not all of them immediately slid away. Before WhatsApp launches a new feature, the feature is tested in beta by the developer to find bugs and fix them.
However, every new WhatsApp feature in beta will be launched basically for Android and iOS users and here we will see some of the most anticipated and upcoming WhatsApp features that will change the way users interact. Here's the review, as reported by the Times Now News page, Tuesday (03/05/2019).
1. Invitation to the WhatsApp Group
The WhatsApp Group Invitation feature has now been seen in the latest Android beta update after being discovered by WABetaInfo on the beta platform. After the feature is launched, other WhatsApp users must take your permission to add you in the WhatsApp group. Although the group admin will not be able to add someone without their permission, the WhatsApp feature is expected to be launched immediately to iOS beta.
2. WhatsApp Advanced Search
Users must have used the WhatsApp search feature almost every day to find text messages or all chats. As the name suggests, WhatsApp's advanced search feature will be an improved version of the options that will have filters such as photos, videos, documents, Gif, Audio and Links. This WhatsApp feature is seen in the iOS beta.
WhatsApp Dark Mode is definitely one of the most anticipated upcoming WhatsApp features and has been seen in beta by several users. While this feature is expected to be launched soon with stable updates, it should be noted that the dark mode feature basically changes the background of the application to black and white to reduce eye strain and save battery life.
4. Show in chat
This option will appear in the list of operations each time a user sees an image shared on WhatsApp. With this option, WhatsApp users will be able to jump to chat where the image is seen quickly. This feature will also help in finding out when the pictures shared are shared for the first time.
5. WhatsApp Status Feed
As reported by Mashable, WhatsApp is testing a new feature for the Status feed which is reported to bring WhatsApp Status from the contacts you contact most often. Currently, WhatsApp Status is shown based on which contact was the last time to share status.
