Smartphones plunged in water? Follow These Steps

When your smartphone slides into the water like a toilet or pool accidentally, you should not worry too much because there is a way to overcome it.

Here are the steps that need to be taken when your smartphone plunged into the water as quoted from the Android Authority, Thursday (04/05/2017).

1. Remove from Water and Make sure the phone is off
The longer the smartphone is in the water, the lower the chance of survival. Therefore, the user should immediately take the phone that falls into the water. Once out of the water, make sure the smartphone is off or off.

2. Unpack the Smartphone
The next step after knowing your smartphone fell into the water is remove the battery (if you can), SIM card, and SD card. Put everything on dry tissue.

3. Try to Dry the Exterior with a Tissue
Next, remove any excess water that exists on the outside of your phone. Use a tissue to dry all components. Make sure you do not play too much with your smartphone.

Seconds, World's Fastest Camera Capture 5 Trillion Frame

Massachussetts Institute of Technology ever made a camera capable of taking 1 trillion frames per second. Now, researchers at Lund University, Sweden, have made a faster camera and able to record 5 trillion frames per second.

The world's fastest camera named Frequency Recognition Algorithm for Multiple Exposures (FRAME) It can record events that take place in just 1/5 trillion seconds.

So fast, FRAME can even complete the movement of light particles (photons) that move across the equivalent distance of a sheet of paper.

Why make this high-speed camera? The goal is to study a variety of science events that take place in a very short duration, in the femtosecond scale (sepertriliun detik).

There are some examples of such a chemical reaction process that on average only takes 200 femtoseconds, or the duration of atomic vibrations in iodine molecules of only 300 femtoseconds.

By recording and slowing the appearance of the occurrences of these natural phenomena, FRAME is expected to help scientists to learn more.

Western Digital Launches "Helium" Hard Drive 12 Terabytes

Hard drive storage capacity with helium gas technology continues to grow. Western Digital this week launched the "helium" hard drive product with 12 terabytes (12,000 gigabytes) under the HGST brand. His full name, Ultrastar He12.

HGST began to develop hard drives containing helium for several years ago through a process called HelioSeal. The gas is charged into the internal hard disk space where the data storage disk is located.

Helium gas that has micro-climate only 1/7 of the usual air density is claimed to allow a thinner data storage disk and ease the working of the data reader's arm.

As a result, helium hard disk also claimed to have a capacity and higher performance than the hard drive that internal space contains ordinary air.
