Compatible Chrome, Firefox Version 55 Bring Virtual Reality Technology, Which Is Greater

Once updated in June 2017, Mozilla will bring virtual reality technology (VR) in the latest version of Forefox. The plan of the feature will be available in the 55 version browser and scrolled starting today.

Quoted from The Verge, Wednesday (9/8/2017), web-based VR in Firefox will be tried by Windows OS users and have a VR headset like Oculus Rift or HTC Vive.

Actually Mozilla has been developing the feature for some time lately. Mozilla uses a programming standard called WebVR. With the program, Firefox browser users can dive into the virtual reality world.

Previously the program has been tested on Forefox Nightly, the pre-release version of Mozilla browser and has limited availability. The browser was designed by a personal developer and backed by Mozilla.

Mozilla is currently also reportedly developing a tool called Forefox Screenshot which is still in the testing phase. With these features the user can take a screen image stored in the cloud.

Google to Release Stories Feature Named 'Stamp'

Stories feature seems to be popular, Google is now preparing to release its own social media format.

Stamp became Google's chosen name and will carry the Accelarated Mobile Pages (AMP) technology format. Prefix 'St' itself can be interpreted as Stories.

Similar to Discover Snapchat, where Instagram and Facebook also adopt the feature, Stamp will consist of various slide options, combining text, photos and video.

Carrying an efficient and mobile-friendly AMP format, Stamp is also aimed at mobile users. Although, technically, the AMP platform also works well and is considered pretty good for desktop classroom experience. This makes Google has the potential for future 'land' expansion.

In addition, quoted from GSM Arena, Saturday (5/8), Google reportedly has conducted talks with a number of media such as CNN, The Washington Post, Time and Vox Media, to provide the initial wave of Stamp content.

Website Delivery Data Makes Mozilla More Personal

Mozilla launches a new site that can be used to transmit data from one person to another. The site in question is named Send.

Send made by Mozilla has a unique and similar feature Snapchat. Various data submitted by the user through Mozilla Send, will automatically disappear after downloaded by the intended person.

As reported by KompasTekno from The Verge, Monday (07/08/2017), though sounded odd, the data can disappear it is indeed a main feature send. The goal is that data sharing activities remain more personal (personal) and can be done quickly.

Mozilla Send itself is not the only useful site for sharing data. Previously, there was already Airdrop or e-mail that could also be used to send data easily.

Unfortunately AirDrop is quite difficult to use. Meanwhile e-mail usually can only carry attachments up to a maximum of 20 MB. So if the file to be sent is quite large, Mozilla Send can be used.

Mozilla is currently designing Send to be able to send data up to 1 GB size. After uploading it, then the data can be opened via a link.
