Not Just Anti-Aircraft, Gorilla Glass Also Anti-Bacterial

Not only more powerful, anti-shatter coating products Gorilla Glass newest generation will have an ability to reduce the amount of bacteria in the phone screen.

In a discussion at the MIT Mobile Technology Summit, Jeffrey Evenson, Senior Vice President and Operations Corning, lots of explaining what the new features will the latest generation of Gorilla Glass (possibility Gorilla Glass 4).

Not only concentrate on the screen more robust product, apparently Corning Gorilla Glass will enhance the ability to reduce reflections and more resistant bacteria.

From various studies conducted by experts, it is known that bacteria in the mobile devices 10 times more than the toilet. With the new technology later, Gorilla Glass is able to reduce the amount of bacteria found dramatically, to more than 10 ^ 6 or 1 million times in just 2 hours.

Meanwhile, anti-reflection technology in the light of this new generation product seems indeed remarkable. In his presentation, as quoted from Hot Hardware, Tuesday (09/07/2013), Evenson screen displays an image piece. In the middle of the picture, there is a big hole. However, after further investigation, it turns out that the hole is part of a screen material that has anti-reflection technology.

With this technology, it seems that users will still be able to see the screen clearly, although exposure to strong sunlight from behind.

Evenson himself still can not provide certainty when the new Gorilla Glass will be available in the market. Prediction, this new Gorilla Glass will equip mobile phones and tablets in the next two years.
