Moleskine Smart Writing Set Change Hands So Oretan Digital Form

Books made of paper records is fun to be used to write or draw. What if the results of doodles can be directly transferred to digital devices without having a headache thinking about additional processes such as scanning?

That is made possible by a new product called Smart Writing Set of Moleskine, the notebook maker, as summarized KompasTekno from The Verge, Saturday (09/04/2016).

Writing Smart Set consists of a notebook and a special pen that is connected to an iPhone, iPad, or Android gadgets via Bluetooth.

When the user writes with a notebook and a special pen, the results will be immediately converted to digital format and transferred to the connected gadgets. This graffiti can be seen through the Notes application that is available on both Android and iOS platforms.

Applications can directly transfer the user scribbles in real-time, or move it at a later time when the pen was not connected. Inside the pen is provided a memory that can store up to 1,000 pages.

How does Smart Writing Set juggle so ink streaks digital form instantly? The secret lies in the combination of the book and a special pen earlier.

The book is called "Paper Tablet" that has a special texture that can be recognized by the pen, called the "Pen +". Pen hidden inside an infrared camera that monitors the movement of the user's hands.

The package price of books and pens in the Smart Set Writing is quite expensive, which is 199 US dollars, or approximately USD 2.6 million. Additional notepads sold separately at a price of 30 US dollars, or Rp 400,000.
