Recommend Supermicro Intel-Based Portfolio Broadwell

Supermicro Super Micro Computer Asia Road Show held in Jakarta. In the event that introduced its product portfolio based on the Intel Broadwell (E5-2600 v4) that has been used throughout Supermicro Xeon product line.

In March 2016 Supermicro has announced support for the breadth of the product group Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v4 new, popularly known as Broadwell, across product lines SuperServer, SuperBlade, SuperStorage, SuperWorkstation and motherboard DP / UP.

Kenny Cheng, Director of Sales South Asia & India, stated that Supermicro servers and storage based on the Intel Broadwell have 20-40 percent higher performance than the previous generation with similar price ranges.

'' Latest processors accelerate applications up to 30 percent and run the workload required with optimal performance. He is also environmentally friendly and can save energy up to 35 percent, '' said Kenny Cheng.

Broadwell product line is very easy to apply because they use the same CPU socket with the previous platform. Just by doing a BIOS upgrade the product line with performance and cost-effective Cleaner can be directly used.

This new product line offers life-time for 7 years in a particular SKU CPU so that it can cut the cost of R & D customers with long product life span.
