Firefox Users Doubled from Microsoft Browser

Based on the analysis of StatCounter, Firefox browser now has a number of users better than the combination of both Microsoft's browser namely Internet Explorer and Edge. Despite that Google's browser, Chrome, the browser is still the most widely used today.

According to PC World, Wednesday (18/05/2016), the StatCounter statistics, Firefox browser has a number of users as much as 15.6 percent in April. While Internet Explorer and Edge, has a fairly narrow range by collecting 15.5 percent of users worldwide.

Users of both Microsoft's browser continues to decline since February and March. In February, they managed to surpass Firefox by winning percentage as much as 16.6% and Firefox only won 16.1%. In March, Firefox users begin to grow by gaining users as much as 15.7% and Microsoft's browser gained 15.8%.

Chances are, the decline came from Edge browser limitations that do not allow users to add an add-on or plug-ins that can add to the functionality of the browser.

Google's own Chrome browser currently has the most number of users by collecting 60.5% of browser users PC in the world. The number has increased from the previous which has 60.1%.

As for mobile devices, browsers with a significant increase experienced by the country of origin of the Bamboo Curtain browser, UC Browser, which managed to collect users as much as 17.8% from the previous 11.8%.
