LG Shows Refrigerator Can Be Administered Use Voice

LG utilize the International Consumer Electronics Show 2017 to showcase products newest refrigerator or freezer. However, this is not an ordinary product, but rather a smart refrigerator is equipped with the operating system webOS and digital assistants Alexa.

"Refrigerator door-in-door will make the owners to enjoy the experience that has never been obtained previously in possession of a refrigerator," said Dae-Hyun Song, President of LG Home Appliance & Water Solutions Company, in a press statement on Monday (9/1 / 2017).

OS webOS are applied in a wide-screen 29-inch called Instaview. With the tap of a finger twice, the screen will go into transparent mode, where users will be directly peeking into the refrigerator.

This smart refrigerator, of course, can be connected to the internet. Later, through Instaview screen, users can search for recipes, listen to music, check the weather, and even shop online.

Later these features can be controlled using the voice by using Alexa.

There is also a feature called Smart Tag that allows users to attach digital notes on the screen that lists all the ingredients of food following the expiration deadline.

Users also will be able to make a memo to the Instaview put on the screen.

Uniquely, when the user is not being at home, still can find a variety of food stored in the refrigerator this. This can be done because LG puts a 2MP camera with wide-angle lens in a storage cabin to take pictures from various angles. Penjepretan results can be viewed through a smartphone.
