Lithium-ion batteries are not always quick to absorb power when required. There are certain conditions that allow electricity can be quickly stored, precisely when the battery is almost empty at the start refilled.
At least that is mentioned by a technician named Mark Carlson from Motorola.
"In general, a battery can receive charging a higher rate when the remaining capacity of its already low, rather than high still," said Carlson summarized KompasTekno of Forbes, Monday (28/03/2016).
"So, the remaining battery that only 10 percent can usually be filled more quickly than when the rest of the power is still 50 percent," he added.
Why did it happen? The answer is simple. Lithium-ion batteries in the modern gadget is equipped with a protection mechanism against excess charging overcharge alias.
This mechanism is implemented by slowing the speed of the charged capacity charging time is already passed a certain limit so that charging can be more easily stopped when the battery is approaching full.
