Innovative Ocean Wave Energy Devices

Ocean wave energy can be captured directly from surface waves. Blowing wind and pressure fluctuations below the surface are the main reasons for causing waves. But consistency of waves differs from one area of ocean to another. Some regions of oceans receive waves with enough uniformity and force. Ocean waves contain tremendous energy. Currently scientists and companies are considering exploiting the wave power of oceans to harness clean and green energy.

Alcatel Lucent and Broadcom Develops Device Integrated Broadband Residential

Alcatel-Lucent and Broadcom Corporation collaborated to develop a reference design of an integrated Femtocell gateway. These devices combine access and Femtocell residential gateway capabilities into a single device. 

Designs that incorporate chipsets, hardware and Broadcom 9360 family of products Small Cells Alcatel-Lucent, will become the standard for the production of femto-based residential gateway. Devices that have integrated allows the ability of small cells made directly into the DSL, residential gateway cable or fiber.

Sea Wave Energy Test Undip

Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang tested the utilization of ocean wave energy to support the development of new and renewable energy.

 "Utilization of ocean wave energy is still in laboratory tests on the southern coast of Pacitan," said Rector Undip Semarang, Sudharto P Hadi told reporters, after the Working Meeting
