Canon Release 3 Compact Camera "Battery Save"

Ran out of camera batteries in as "precarious" is annoying, especially when it occurs in the middle of vacation time away from the reach of the power jack.

That's the problem highlighted by three pocket camera Canon Ixus 255 HS, Ixus 135, Ixus 132 is released and Datascrip as the sole distributor of Canon products in Indonesia.

The third camera is equipped with a battery-saving feature called "Eco Mode" which is claimed to improve battery life up to 30 percent by dimming the LCD screen when not in use.

Ixus 255 HS, for example, to increase rated shot of 220 frames (CIPA standard) to 300 frames to enable battery saving mode.

"Eco Mode available on these cameras continue to increasingly freeing the user to take pictures without worrying about running out of battery," Canon said Merry Harun Datascrip Division Director in a press release received by Kompas Tekno.


Ixus 255 HS and Ixus 135 also equipped with WiFi connectivity so it can connect to Android or iOS devices via Canon Camera Window application for the purposes of sharing photos via social networking.

Other specs include a 10x zoom lens (24-240mm), 12 megapixel sensor and Digic 5 processor for Ixus 255 HS and 8x zoom lens (28-224mm), 16 megapixel sensor and Digic 4 processor for the Ixus 135.

The Ixus 132 comes with similar specifications to the Ixus 135, but it does not have WiFi connectivity.

Datascrip Ixus 255 HS with the market price of Rp 2.535 million, while the Ixus 135 and Ixus 132 each priced at Rp 1.795 million and Rp 1,450,000.
