Samsung Set up 2 Smartphone Tizen

Samsung spur the development of Tizen OS based smartphone to be released soon. South Korean company is expected to launch two Tizen smartphone before the end of this year.

Quoted from Softpedia, Monday (06/05/2013), the two smartphones are known to have a code name GT-I8800 and GT-I8805. Both equally will come with 4G LTE connectivity.

Tizen as it is known is a Linux-based OS Linux Foundation is promoted as an alternative to the Android platform. Is Intel and Samsung are leading the technical direction of this OS. Tizen is also the development of the first MeeGo platform developed by Nokia together with Intel and LiMo.

Samsung has confirmed about his plans to make Tizen handsets before the end of this year. But vendors who now dominate the smartphone market to compete with Apple this time did not offer details.

Certainly interesting when Samsung will be releasing the Android competitors. but as we know, Samsung is very dominant in the sales of Android handsets than any other vendor who become competitors.

It actually stems from concerns Google's acquisition of Motorola. Many people argue that Google will prioritize the latest Motorola Android to access.

Although it has been denied by Google, this rumor still believed some people will happen someday. Samsung is the one that set up the possibility with Tizen.
